V1 game golf app review12/2/2023 Thank you for doing this and I look forward to hearing about your Journey! I am familiar with Scott's philosophy and am considering attending one of his seminars or purchasing the app. I can see this translating to the course, but only time will tell! None of this is secret sauce (like I said, I don't want to give that away), but in less than a week, I already had one of the best range sessions that I've ever had. So if I want to end up at the 175 yard marker, I might need to aim 10 yards right of that in my practice and rounds to get where I truly need to go. And I for YEARS would still aim where I wanted the ball to go, NOT where I should aim. What does not having a routine do? It allows for outside talk to creep into your brain and you say things to yourself like "don't hit it in the water" instead of committing to a line, having a routine, and hitting it.Īim - this seems like such a basic idea, but I play a draw. And I would estimate that 90%+ of golfers out there do not go through the same routine for every shot. There will be a good deal of manual data collection and entry for me, but understanding strokes gained and what are the most important things for me to practice and bring to the course.įirst of all, the things from "month one" (which I watched all the videos in the first week) have made an impact to my practice and approach already. What it is NOT is a competitor for Arccos and the like. ![]() ![]() BUT I will talk about some of the things that the app is helping me with, etc.įor me, it feels like an all encompassing course management, data collection, strategy and content catalog designed to truly help you improve your game. I didn't see many posts talking about this app and strategy, and I am JUST getting started (week one!) so I thought I'd start this thread and inform/keep you up to date on my progress.ĭisclaimer: if you're here looking for me to give away details of what's IN the app, I won't do that in detail because this is a paid app and I don't want to give away the farm.
